2. If you wish, we can help you find ways to effectively minister to your people with the funds you have.
3. We will be here to help answer questions that you may have regarding effective ministry either by e-mail or postal mail.
4. You will receive a beautiful certificate & picture identification card within 4 weeks of us receiving a complete application and yearly fee.
5. You will receive occasional updates and encouragements from us.

Credential Ministers/Affiliate Churches: Each current foreign member that becomes part of AEGA, receives a beautiful certificate suitable for framing, a laminated photo ID card, and a moving letter of commission.
Teaching/Encouragement: Each current foreign member will receive teachings of encouragement from the Foreign Department throughout the year. They are practical and applicable to foreign members.
E-Mail Ministry: Each member that has access to e-mail has the opportunity to correspond with Foreign Department on a daily basis. We are able to pray with, counsel, encourage and teach foreign members as their needs arise. This is a growing and exciting means of ministry that the Lord is blessing mightly at this time. It connects us in a way that is cost prohibitive through the use of the telephone.
Prayer: The Foreign Division staff prays for the specific requests we receive by regular mail as well as e-mail. We also pray over all other foreign members that have not sent in specific requests.
Opportunity: Every foreign member has doors of opportunity open to them as they become members. Many get to come to the United States for our annual World Conference where they can meet and connect with our US members. Others may be recipients of resources from AEGA World Missions , our AEGA mission arm. In several countries, we have national Directors and Bishops in residence who are available to assist in your ministry. Further, national AEGA Conferences are held in these countries. Some of these countries have a local chapter of Women For Christ. The ability to further your education through Evangel Christian University of America is opened up to all.

LICENSE AS MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL - These credentials are issued to a person who is considered a part-time or full-time minister. Having a license authorizes one to preach, perform holy matrimony, baptize, exhort, confirm, and practice any biblical and religious activity pertaining to the office of Minister of the Gospel, in accordance with respective ordinances of residence.

• SIX REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSED MINISTER - (1) Has a call of God to work for Him; (2) 21 years of age; (3) Is living a consistent Christian life above reproach; (4) Is actively involved in a local church; (5) Has experienced baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4) with the evidence of speaking in tongues (1 Cor. 12:4-10, 28); (6) Has completed 24 months or more of supervised ministry under the direction of a Licensed or Ordained Pastor in a local church with a favorable final performance report from his Pastor.

CERTIFICATION OF ORDINATION - These credentials are issued to a person who is considered a part-time or full-time minister. Having received the certificate of ordination warrants a high place for the recipient. He/she is certified and authorized to preach, perform holy matrimony, baptize, exhort, confirm, and practice biblical and religious activity pertaining to the office of Ordained Minister in accordance with respective ordinances of residence.

• SIX REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION OF ORDINATION - (1) Has a call of God to work for Him; (2) 22 years of age; (3) Is living a consistent Christian life above reproach; (4) Is actively involved in a local church; (5) Has experienced baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4) with the evidence of speaking in tongues (1 Cor. 12:4-10, 28); (6) Has completed 30 months or more of supervised ministry under the direction of a Licensed or Ordained Pastor in a local church with a favorable final performance report from his Pastor.

Things to be considered before applying for membership

1. Every applicant should be born-again and living a life that reflects the born-again experience.
2. Every applicant must fully agree with the 18 Fundamental Truths as outlined on the BELIEFS page of this site.
3. Every applicant must realize that he/she is a potential representative of AEGA Ministries International, Inc. and must be willing to uphold a standard of Biblical behavior that is above reproach.
4. Every applicant should realize that there is a non refundable yearly membership fee which can be determined by consulting the APPLICATION FEE SCHEDULE page on this site. This fee must be received by our office before any application will be considered. These funds are payable in US funds only, by money order, or certified check only (no personal checks will be accepted). Credit card payment is acceptable if the proper information is supplied. 5. Every applicant for Licensed or Ordained Minister level of certification must pass a basic Bible knowledge test given by AEGA Ministries.
6. Every applicant should know that membership in AEGA Ministries International, Inc. gives them greater access to our Foreign Missions department which is called AEGA World Missions . Click on the preceeding link for information on CWO.
7. Every applicant must know that the annual AEGA yearbook publication is NOT distributed to foreign members but only to the Director of that particular country.
8. Every applicant should know that letters of invitation to our annual World Conference, which is held in Monroe, Louisiana, USA, are not automatically issued and are, on a very limited basis, issued to the Director of each country to be given out at his discretion.
9. Every applicant should realize that he/she will be expected to pay a renewal fee equal to the application fee paid upon his/her initial acceptance into AEGA Ministries International, yearly. Failure to do so will result in his/her being suspended from membership.
10. Every apllicant should know that dismissal from AEGA Ministries International, Inc. will also result in the suspension of invovlement with Compassion World Outreach.

Basic Bible Knowledge Test

AEGA Ministries requires that a person seeking the certification at the Licensed Minister or Ordained Minister level must first pass a competecy test along with having the proper education and recommendations. Below you will find the guidelines for the test applicable to the level you are applying for.

If you are NOT currently a member of AEGA and you are applying for:
a. Christian Worker....................no test required
b. Ministerial Apprentice..............no test required
c. Licensed Minister...................test required...you must answer questions 1 to 35
d. Ordained Minister...................test required...you must answer all 70 questions

If you ARE currently a member of AEGA and you are applying for an upgrade from:
a. Christian Worker to Ministerial Apprentice....................no test required
b. Ministerial Apprentice to Licensed Minister...................test required...you must answer questions 1 to 35
c. Licensed Minister to Ordained Minister........................test required...you must answer all 70 questions if you have not perviously answered the first 35 questions. If you have answered the first 35 questions then you are required to only answer questions 36 to 70.

This test may be taken with your Bible open and used for reference. However we assume this is already knowledge basic to your understanding of the Bible. You must answer all questions and achieve a total score of at least 70% to receive your credentials. This means that if you answer only the first 35 questions you must have at least 25 answered correctly and if you answer all 70 questions you must have at least 49 correct answers. After completion of the test, return it to AEGA Foreign Affairs Division for scoring and the issuance of credentials.
